And then, to warm up the color and match the tone of the cloth more than closely, I applied directly Annie Sloan Dark Wax.

I volition tell you that it took at least a calendar week for the tackiness to go away even after much buffing. This is because information technology was a rather heavy coat of wax. Once it cured it had a very dainty smooth end.
